COVID19 Pandemic Procedure for Plumbing Dept.

CWW Plumbing & Environmental departments are leveraging the best practices of our Trenchless Pipe Rehabilitation department, which has been using pandemic-level personal protective equipment for many years. We already have strict and well-practiced procedures in place for events such as COVID19.

The well-being of your family and our employees is our priority. CWW is your only fully equipped and trained plumbing firm open 24/7.

  • No CWW Plumber or employee can be put at risk while visiting a personal residence or workplace during a pandemic.
  • No resident can be put at risk while CWW is attending a plumbing requirement.

Our staff are equipped with certified hazardous material suits and follow our documented Pandemic Procedure for the Plumbing Department (PPPD). It includes a series of quick, concise questions that allow us to screen clients before deeming a situation as a safe one, in order to proceed. In keeping our staff safe, we keep your home safe.

The procedure is as follows:

Pre-Screening questions to customer / Pre-screening to staff member
(each is asked these questions to keep each party safe):

  • Are all family members feeling well?
  • Are there any unwell family members in the home?
  • Have any family members returned recently from travel abroad?
  • Are any family members in home in self isolation?

Procedure for Plumber visiting residence:

  • Approach the customer’s door as planned: in full protective personal equipment.
  • Repeat the list of pre-screening questions.
  • If CWW plumber feels comfortable, undertake the work in a safe and efficient manner.

We are ready,
equipped and experienced
for your plumbing needs.
