Extending Watermain Life
Clean Water Works provides cathodic protection of water services to extend the life of your watermain. We install anodes in vertical potholes, typically 2.4 meters below the surface. The magnesium anode is installed directly on the water system by secure anode wire leads.
To install this cathodic protection, we vacuum excavate the vertical pothole, install the anodes, backfill the hole and restore the landscaped area to its prior condition. This is all done with municipal approval and all work is completed to their satisfaction.
This preventative maintenance service is generally preferred by municipal bodies.
