Hydrovacuum Excavation

Removing the Risk

At CWW we recognize the benefits of performing safe, expedient and cost-effective excavations. To avoid striking underground utilities during construction activities, we employ prudent excavation techniques with specifically designed hydro-excavation equipment.

We expose underground utilities such as water services or hydro lines, using pressurized water that liquefies the soil cover. The resulting residue is then drawn into a vacuum debris hose and stored in a debris tank positioned inside the hydro excavator.

Operation Under Any Condition

Our hydro vacuum excavation fleet features a water boiling system which ensures all-season failsafe operation. We can even undertake an excavation project from as far away as 350 feet from the excavation unit, and thaw and flush frozen or blocked sewer ducts.

Our hydro excavation fleet serves a variety of customers. For residential customers, for example, we can dig fence post holes in traditionally hard-to-reach places without disturbing surrounding landscaping. Our excavation units can also be effectively and safely deployed when digging in close proximity to a building foundation, or in the repair or installation of a new weeping tile system. We can also use hydro vacuum excavation to repair or replace residential sewer and waterlines with minimal site disturbance and disruption.

A Reliable Solution for Every Sector

In the service of municipalities, CWW’s hydro vacuum excavation units can manage small excavations including the repair or replacement of stand posts and water valve chambers. Municipalities can also count on CWW hydro vacuum excavation units for emergency watermain repairs where the specific break can be rapidly exposed, and for the cleanup of the resulting flooded area. CWW provides these same services to its industrial and commercial (including heavy construction) customers.

These innovated methods have proven to be an option where conventional digging is not feasible.
