Connections inside a sewer main are often referred to as T-connections. When a city sewer main shows visible signs of deterioration, the secondary sewer branches and their T-connections are often in a similar condition.
CWW’s cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) T-liners are engineered to repair and renew T-connections without excavation. We manufacture T-liners to the diameter of each connection and main sewer diameter.
Once installed and cured, the T-liner becomes a seamless, single-component connection that can withstand external loads and water infiltration. The T-liner’s smooth finish also increases the flow and hydraulic properties. At CWW, we install our T-liners entirely from the main sewer. We require absolutely no access to a building and can usually install a T-liner in just two hours.
CWW offers a complete sewer CIPP lining solution with its sewer main liners, lateral liners and T-liners. We can renew an entire sewer main section between two manholes – and all of its lateral sewer branches including their lateral to main sewer T-connection – without excavation.
Benefits of CIPP Lateral Sewer Lining
- Cost-effective
It costs much less and performs far better than conventional dig-and-replace methods.
- Less Intrusive
CWW employs reliable and proven T-lining techniques with negligible disruption to surface, traffic flow and building occupants.
- Enhanced Performance
CIPP structural liner restores the structural integrity of the pipe and improves the overall hydraulic characteristics of the pipe as a result of the smooth finish of the CIPP liner.
